The film tells the story of the reunion between the world’s only two flying Lancaster bombers.

‘Vera’ flew from Canada to RAF Coningsby, which is the base for the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight’s own Lancaster ‘Thumper’.

The Lincolnshire Lancaster Association will attend the screening, along with the Horncastle ATC.

A variety of model aircraft, including a Lancaster, will be on display and a flying simulator for the public to try their hand at radio control will be available. There will also be a fun competition to name as many of the different types of aircraft seen in the film.

Tickets cost £3.50 in advance from the town’s Music Shop or £4 at the door on the night.
