Change will make council more ‘transparent’

Notts County Council has approved plans to change from a leader and cabinet system to a committee system.

Council leader Kay Cutts said the move would ‘ensure greater transparency’.

The new system will come in to effect from the annual meeting of the county council on 17th May.
