The boutique opened its doors in October 2013 as a permanent shop after years of holding pop-ups across South Yorks.

A year on, the boutique is receiving donations every week from the local community, from dresses, skirts and coats to shoes, scarves and hats; there is something for everyone at Charity Chicks and all proceeds go directly to support SAFE@LAST’s Education and Prevention work.

Katie Eastburn, team leader for SAFE@LAST’s Education and Prevention programme, said: “The money raised by customers at Charity Chicks Boutique helps us to deliver assemblies and workshops to schools across South Yorks.”

This way we can educate young people about the dangers and risks of running away, and to prevent young people from running away.”
