Teams of 10 people (raising a minimum of £60 in donations per person) are invited to take part on the day.

Last year’s entrants included teams from GRS Electrical in Louth, and the charity Home-Start.

Half of the money raised on the day will go to the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC), with the remaining funds going to other good causes in the area.

It is the ninth year that the Lions have organised the event, with more than £150,000 being raised for charities over that time.

The fundraising event is based on the BBC game show, which originally ran between 1966 and 1982 and later enjoyed a number of special episodes and a brief revival on Channel 5 in the late 1990s.
