And the Anston Greenlands Junior and Infant School pupils are over the moon as their single has rocketed up the iTunes chart.
They are now aiming to get their song - called My fight - all the way to number one, and raise even more money for charity.
The single was released on Tuesday 12th February and by the following day it had already reached Number 49 in the iTunes Rock Downloads Chart - sandwiched between Atomic Kitten and Aerosmith.
“This was down to amazing support from our friends and families spreading the word through social media,” said 10-year-old student Bethan Roberts - one of the pupil’s who sang on the record.
“Now we want to get to Number 1 and to do that, we need your support.”
War Child is a small London-based charity that supports children across the globe whose lives have been torn apart by war and conflict.
It does everything from providing vital medical care and creating safe havens for children, to rebuilding schools and supporting whole communities to keep their children safe and well.
Since it began in 1993, War Child has helped transform the lives of thousands of children in Africa, Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria and here in the UK.
“We would like to make lots of money for this extraordinary life-changing charity and help to raise awareness of the important work they do too,” continued Bethan.
“In school, we have been learning all about how children across the world have been affected by war.”
“When we wrote our song, we were thinking about how different and difficult life is for those children.”
And the charity single is not the end of the schools plans to raise money for this important charity.
“Just before Easter, we will be holding a Benefit gig,” added Bethan.
“It will be the final event in our topic, in order to raise even more money for War Child.”
“Here, our school rock band will perform, alongside our choir. Of course, we will also be giving a final performance of My Fight.”
