Clarborough: Pub raises cash for Bassetlaw Hospital

The Kings Arms in Clarborough has raised £436.75 for Bassetlaw Hospital to help purchase a portable bladder scanner.

The pub was closed down by the brewery several years ago and Clarborough resident Kevin Pinner decided to buy it.

Villagers were so delighted that Kevin reopened it that they helped him get it ready for its opening in August 2012.

Local residents then formed a fundraising committee and have recently fundraised for the hospital. Events included a karaoke evening and bingo.
