Clowne & Bolsover: Fire service wants to recruit new on-call crew members
Derbyshire Fire Service is looking to recruit a new batch of on-call firefighters at several stations across the county, including Clowne and Bolsover.
On-call firefighters are members of the community who are paid to respond to a variety of emergencies, dealing with anything from floods to road traffic collisions; they also inform our community about fire safety and prevention.
They are notified of an emergency call via a personal pager, which they carry with them when they are on duty.
