Co-op stores come together to raise £1.761 for Creswell Crags

Creswell Crags has thanked two Co-operative stores in the area that joined forces to raise more than £1,700 for the attraction.

The funds were raised at the Creswell and Whitwell Co-op stores via the 5p carrier bag charge along with long with a 1 per cent dividend donation.

Staff at Creswell Crags, an enclosed limestone gorge and visitor attraction, have decided to spend the money on replacing a stone map at the end of the park which is currently irreparable. The park will also launch its first official mascot thanks to the funds.
