COLUMN: Are you a budding market trader?

East Lindsey District Council's markets take place every week and are a great way of meeting potential customers.

A stall costs just £10 per day during January and February. Stalls are usually £15 per stall for new traders for three months. Casual traders pay just £18 per stall.

Whatever you have to sell, whether it be food, handmade items or something totally new and innovative, the district’s markets are a great way to meet potential customers and receive some great feedback to help shape your business.

Markets in Louth take place on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday each week with a farmers’ market on the fourth Wednesday of each month and a food market on the second Friday of every month.

There is a craft market every third Saturday of the month, running from April to December.

Horncastle market is every Thursday and Saturday with a farmers’ market on the second Thursday of each month and a craft market on the second Saturday of each month running from April to December.

Spilsby holds a market every Monday with an auctioneer.
