Combine harvester fire partially blocks A153 at Anwick Fen

Firefighters from Sleaford have been attending a combine harvester on fire on the busy A153 between Sleaford and Billinghay at Anwick Fen.

The crew was called out earlier this afternoon to the machine and extinguished the blaze which had started in the engine compartment, according to a fire service spokesman.

The firefighters remained on the scene to help police direct traffic as the vehicle was unable to move, partially blocking the road.
