Former Hollyoaks actress Jane Hogarth stars as Vicky, a mother who starts up a new support group called The Empty Nesters Club.

Vicky’s daughter Millie leaves home to attend university in London, leaving doting mum and over-protective dad Phil at home.

Rob Angell, who plays Phil, and Josie Morley, who plays Millie, have both previously toured with The John Godber Company and Theatre Royal Wakefield in NHS drama This Might Hurt.

The play is written and directed by John Godber.

A spokesman for The Empty Nesters Club said: “If your children have left home and the nest is empty, this is the group for you!
