COMMUNITY: Autumn walks by train
Walkers are being invited to discover the countryside this autumn on a series of nine railway rambles with the Penistone Line Partnership.
Walks co-ordinator, Stuart Parker, said: “Most walks feature the Penistone line between Sheffield, Barnsley and Huddersfield and all are accessible by departing from Gainsborough Lea Road station on Saturdays using the Northern train service to Sheffield.
All are welcome, the walks are free but train fares apply.”
