Jill told members that her dream to open her own nursery had started 13 years ago. She informed members that her initial planning application to start a nursery, had been turned down because the building she was to use, was listed, built in 1502 and “A Princess Margaret had stayed there. It took Jill two and a half years to obtain planning permission.

The project is now blossoming and it is a nursery well worth visiting, especially if someone wants to buy unusual plants. Jill, who has won gold medals at many of the prestigious flower shows, has a wealth of information which she is willing to share, for all gardeners from novice to experts.
