CLIP have won a major project funded through the UK Government and European Social Fund to help inspire local young people to get the career/job they want.

The programme is for 18 to 24-year-olds. They do not have to be in receipt of benefit to qualify for the funding so It can help a wide range of 18-24s who have finished their degree or college course or anybody wanting help in looking to explore career choices.

Employers are also invited to be involved in the project with the hope of providing inspiration and ideas. Employer engagement might involve speaking about local opportunities or the provision of an opportunity for participants to undertake a project/work experience.

The course runs for a total of seven weeks, and throughout their time with us candidates will receive intensive information advice and guidance sessions to investigate career options.

There are workshops which cover CV writing, undertaking job searches, producing covering letters and also which will review participants’ current and transferable skills.

Candidates will also carry out work experience and have chance to carry out specialist training and work experience to get a job in their chosen sector.
