COMMUNITY: Gainsborough District & Decorative Fine Arts' Society

Following their February AGM at the trinity centre, members of the fine arts' society enjoyed an outstanding lecture from historian, Tracy Borman.

Brought up in Lincolnshire, Tracy is now a joint curator along with Lucy Worsley, of the four historic royal palaces which includes hampton court and has recently reached number four on the times’ best seller list with her biography on Henry VIII’s most faithful servant, Thomas Cromwell.

The next meeting is on March 3, when David Winpenny will speak on Scandal, Spite and Shuttlecocks: Wentworth Woodhouse

Always at 1.45pm in the Trinity Arts Centre, Gainsborough (01427 676655) on the first Thursday of the month (ex Jan, July and August).
