COMMUNITY: Improved rail roadshow
Arriva, the new franchise holder for rail services in the north of England, is holding a road show at Sheffield station on Monday/Tuesday, September 19/20, from 10am to 7pm.
The Northern service includes the Lincoln–Retford–Worksop–Shireoaks–Sheffield line and the Gainsborough–Doncaster line.
Arriva is asking for the public’s views on a daily half-hourly service between Retford and Sheffield with an improved Sunday service, all with either new or upgraded carriages and seating.
