COMMUNITY: Remembrance Sunday in Scotter

The service began with the uniformed groups parading into church with their colours, the address was given by Rev Mike Craggs and the readings were given by Janet Arrand and Ellie Hallam.

The congregation made their way to the green for 10.50am for the Act of Remembrance and the two minute silence they were joined by many more villagers.

The last post was played by John Foster, wreaths were laid on behalf of Scotter Parish Council, The Methodist Chapel, St Peter’s Church, The Gamekeeper, Scotter Junior Football Club and the Guides, Brownies and Rainbows.

All were invited for refreshments at the methodist chapel after the service.
