COMMUNITY: Scotter Women's Hour

Kay Edgar presided and the pianist was Jean Savage when the members met in the chapel schoolroom on Wednesday, March 16. '¨The speaker at the meeting was Mrs Rushton, the wife of a retired Minister, the topic of her talk was The Life of Susannah Wesley including facts which were new to a lot of the ladies. '¨The members enjoyed birthday cake as one of their number will be celebrating her 90th birthday next week, happy birthday was also sung and a card presented. '¨A members meeting will be held on Wednesday, March 30, at 2pm in the chapel schoolroom.
