The meeting was being recorded and declarations of interest were made. The minutes were approved with one amendment.

A new union flag has been purchased and will be flying in time for the Queen’s 90th birthday and St George’s Day later this month.
The police report included a burglary and some criminal damage in Sturton. An offer of some snowdrops for the jubilee wood was accepted.
The council’s annual walkabout will take place later this month to allow more time for general repairs and maintenance to be done in the better weather. A review of the annual grant policy was approved and will be circulated to the village organisations.
Parking problems were still under discussion and being monitored. Unfortunately the grants for grass cutting by the Parish Paths Partnership have been withdrawn so parish council will need to reassess their own funding towards this seasonal expense. There were no comments for a planning application to erect one dwelling at rose Ccttage, Stow Road but it was agreed that two dwellings and garages at Stow lodge on Tillbridge Road would be outside the curtilage. The previous comments for the red lion public house were to be re-iterated. Permission for a dwelling at the rear of 37 High Street has been granted.
Next meeting on Wednesday, May 4, will be the annual general meeting of the parish council.
