COMMUNITY: Upton & Kexby Horticultural society
The AGM was held last week, with the chairman and secretary reporting a successful show, despite being low on entries, one great feature was the scarecrow event and it is hoped to run it again next year.
The committee for the following year is:- chairman, Don Spittlehouse, vice, Pete Rushton, sec/ treas Jane Spencer, commitee, G. Hobart, D. Farrow, J. Waudby, P. Chester, A. Blow.
New members will be welcome, contact any of the above if you are interested.
Next year’s show will be on Sunday, September 10.
