COMMUNITY: Volunteer Card Training

The Lincolnshire volunteer card is a county wide initiative, funded by Lincolnshire Public

Health. This free two session training programme is open to anyone with an interest in volunteering and delegates who attend all sessions will be issued with their own personal volunteer card, which is recognised by employers and voluntary organisations county wide.

The course covers six key areas that are relevant to new or existing volunteers, including good practice, equality and diversity, health and safety, safeguarding and confidentiality, customer care and live well, which is new for 2014-16.

The last 2016 course takes place on Friday, April 15 and Wednesday, April 20th, 10am to 4pm at The Guildhall, Marshall’s Yard, Gainsborough.

You need to be available on all dates to complete the course and receive your volunteer card.
