COMMUNITY: Walkeringham village hall

Many thanks to everyone who came to the Christmas fair on November 26, more than £400 was raised for hall funds, which will all go towards upkeep and improvements of the hall for users.

Special thanks to all the lovely stall holders who brought such wonderful goods, everyone who came to support the event and buy items, and special thanks to Santa, who came to see the children (courtesy of North Notts Lions).

Monday, December 19, 6.30pm, Walkeringham carols round the tree. Come and get into the Christmas spirit with carols and hot refreshments. The village tree is positioned on the high street junction with Southmoor Road.

Wednesday, December 21, 10.30am to 11.45am, church coffee morning. St Mary Magdalene Church hold a monthly coffee morning in the village hall, on the third Wednesday of every month.

Raffle, cakes, produce and preserves for sale plus a warm welcome guaranteed.
