Confirmation a Joy at St Mary's
A joyous occasion last week at St Mary's Church in Horncastle saw fifteen people from Horncastle and the neighbouring villages confirmed by the Bishop of Lincoln, the Rt Rev Christopher Lowson, with the Bishop of Grantham also attending to witness the event.
“Confirmation marks a point in the Christian journey at which you affirm for yourself, your faith and your intention to live a Christian life,” said Charles Patrick, vicar of Horncastle.
“This was a lovely service to be part of, especially as so many of the people being confirmed were young adults. We also celebrated the baptism of two younger members of the church. The church was filled with such happiness.”
