Controlled burning spreads to stubble field in Harmston
Two fire crews were called to a stubble field on fire at Harmston yesterday (Thursday).
The call came in just before 2pm to the incident on Low Road, Harmston, where 200 square metres of the field was ablaze, caused by controlled burning which had spread, according to a fire service statement.
The crews crom Lincoln used beaters to extinguish the fire and stop it spreading further.
