Marie Chapman, LCVS senior volunteering officer, said: “We know taking the first step into volunteering can be daunting.

“Sometimes people are low in confidence, can’t imagine what they have to offer or they’d like to volunteer but don’t know if there’s a suitable role for them out there.

LCVS is a registered charity with teams in Boston, South Holland, South Kesteven and East Lindsey. The organisation works to help community-minded individuals and groups to get established, achieve their goals and flourish through providing support with paperwork and governance, resources, sourcing funding and finding and training volunteers. In addition, LCVS’s health trainers work with individuals to help them kick bad habits and get on the path to better health.
