Could you smell something? Straw stack and heap of manure goes up in smoke at Threekingham

It was the Billingborough crew’s first job in their brand new fire appliance and they were joined by a crew from Donington at the scene at 11.38am.

They used hoses to extinguish the fire and a farmer’s forklift to move and turn over the straw.

A crew was to return later today to inspect and check the site for any further burning straw.
