The event is due to take place on Bank Holiday Monday, August 31, on Epworth Show Field.

The one day event is packed full of attractions and competitions for everyone to take part in, as well as a beer tent with a range of real ales and ciders, and plenty of variety in cuisine with the many food stalls and also trade stands so you can even do a bit of shopping.

Keeping agriculture at the heart of the show, there will be livestock and equine competitions, vintage tractors and cars, a horticultural tent, dog shows, and an animal enclosure for you to get up close and personal. There will also be live music and entertainment throughout the day with the world-famous Titan the Robot, Britain’s Got Talent Gary Magic and singer Phoebe Walker.

“Following on from last year’s fantastic show we are delighted that this year sees the return of some favourites such as Titan the Robot and the heavy horses, with some new attractions including terrier and lurcher racing and a great falconry display,” says Simon Bower, President of the Epworth and District Agricultural Show.

“We have even more chances to compete in the horse section with a new side saddle class, the horticulture competition has some great fun classes for children, and don’t forget to bring your dog to the fun dog show. With the preparations well underway we look forward to welcoming everyone on 31 August 2015.”

So save the date and prepare for what promises to be a great day out to round off the summer.
