The unused Funk Bus was gifted for the community project in July 2015 by ELDC, and has been refurbished with a radio station and computer suite to be used
by the local community.

The bus will be used to support local communities in the East Lindsey area and is available for use at events with music, PA equipment, and staging. The bus will also travel to rural villages and locations to provide computer classes and internet access.

Andrew Ayers from County Linx Radio said: “The hard work and dedication of the County Linx Radio team and the support from local organisations and businesses has meant that the project is up and running within seven months.”

Mr Ayers thanked the Postcode Lottery, the Dulverton Trust, Waterloo Housing, the local Lions Club, Lincolnshire Community and Voluntary Service (LCVS), plus Magna Vitae, the Community Lincs TED project, and others.

If you would like the bus to support your event at no charge, or to arrange computer classes in your area, call 07936 043676.
