Court bails Boston man charged with Spalding pub assaults

A man facing four assault charges arising from an incident at a Spalding pub on Saturday was bailed by a court in Lincoln on Monday to appear at Boston Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, April 13.

Povilas Siksnius (25), of Portland Street, Boston, is accused of attempting to unlawfully and maliciously cause grievous bodily harm to Punchbowl pub landlord Pete Williams on Saturday, March 5.

He is also accused of assaulting Stephanie Williams, causing her actual bodily harm; jointly with others assaulting Mr Williams, causing him actual bodily harm; and of assaulting Mrs Williams by beating. These three charges relate to the same date.

• Two men have already been bailed on assault charges by police to appear at Boston Magistrates’ Court on April 13. They are Petras Siksnius (25), of Reams Close, Boston, and Tomas Krasulys (33), of Hawthorn Bank, Spalding.
