In court for racial attack

A WORKSOP woman has appeared at Worksop Magistrates’ Court where she admitted a racially aggravated altercation involving a kitchen knife.

Joanne Rutledge, 30, of Creswell Street, admits using threatening and abusive words or behaviour towards Peter Miskovic, Lucas Miscovic and Katerina Miscovicova on 2nd October 2011, so that they feared violence.

A further charge relating to a section 4 public order offence was withdrawn.

Rutledge will appear at the same court for sentencing on Thursday 22nd December.

She was released on bail with conditions not to contact any of the complainants in the case.
