Drink-driving

Lewis Smith, 21, of Bladon Estate, Fishtoft. At Boston, drove a Ford Focus motor car on Horncastle Road, after consuming so much alcohol that the proportion of it in breath, equalled 55 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath (legal limit 35); drove without a licence’ drove without insurance. £120 fine, £20 victim surcharge, £150 criminal courts charge, disqualified from driving for 36 months; £120 fine.

Amantha Elaine McPhail, 48, of Main Road, Stickney. At Stickney, drove on Main Road, Green Lane, A16, Stickney, after consuming so much alcohol that the proportion of it in breath equalled 122 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of beath (legal limit 35). Community order made, to include rehabilitation activity for 15 days and 60 hours’ unpaid work, £60 victim surcharge, £85 costs, £150 criminal courts charge, disqualified from driving for 30 months.

Criminal damage

Valera Voitsehovski, 20, of Joy Paine Close, Boston. At Frankling CLose, Boston, without lawful excuse damaged a garden chair to an unknown value belonging to another intending to destroy or damage such property or being reckless as to whether such property would be destroyed or damaged. £100 fine, £20 compensation, £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, £150 criminal courts charge.

Drugs

Adam Jablonski, 32, of Hospital Lane, Boston. At West Street, Boston, had possession of a quantity of cannabis (class B). £100 fine, £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, £180 criminal courts charge.

Theft

Daniel John Millar, 26, of South Terrace, Boston. At Boston, stole cleaning items to the value unknown belonging to Lincolnshire Co-operative Society; at Boston, stole four blocks of cheese to the value of £8 belonging to Iceland Foods; at Boston, Skirbeck Road, stole washing detergent to the value of £36.56 belonging to Lincolnshire Co-operative Society; at One Stop, Wide Bargate, Boston, stole cheese to the value of £20; at Pets at Home, Queen Street, Boston, stole a dog coat to the value of £15; at Boston, stole cheese and bacon to the value of £23 belonging to Lincolnshire Co-operative Society; at Boston, assaulted another by beating them. Committed to prison for three months suspended for 12 months, £80 victim surcharge, £150 criminal courts charge.

Fraud

John Ransley, 64, of Giles Close, Old Leake. Twice at Boston, with a view to obtaining a benefit, advantage, or other payment, namely housing benefit and/or council tax benefit, dishonestly made a statement to Lincolnshire County Council that the landlord was his wife or former partner; at Boston, for the purpose of obtaining a reduction under a council tax reduction scheme for himself, made a statement or representation which he knew to be false, namely failing to declare that his landlord was his wife or former partner. Discharged conditionally for 24 months, £15 victim surcharge.

Diane Robinson, 39, of Revesby Avenue, Boston. At Boston, failed to promptly notify Boston Borough Council of a change of circumstances which would affect her entitlement to housing benefit; at Boston, following a change of circumstances which she knew would affect her entitlement to a reduction, or the amount of reduction, under a billing authority’s council tax reduction scheme, namely that she was living with her partner and was in renumerative work, failed to notify the council. Discharged conditionally for 12 months, £15 victim surcharge, £200 costs.

Assault

Daniel Luke Brown, 27, of Wide Bargate, Boston. At Boston, assaulted another by beating her. Committed to prison for four weeks suspended for 12 months, restraining order made, £250 compensation, £80 victim surcharge, £85 costs, £150 criminal courts charge.

Dangerous dog

Augusts Matulevics, 47, of Albert Terrace, Boston. At St Botolph’s Crescent, Boston, was the owner of a German Shepherd, which was dangerously out of control and while so out of control injured another; at St Botolph’s Crescent, Boston, was the owner of a German Shepherd, which was dangerously out of control and while so out of control injured another; commission of a further offence while subject to an order of conditional discharge for 12 months for an offence of owner of a dog dangerously out of control. Order that the dog be destroyed, community order made to include 150 hours’ unpaid work, two sets of £250 compensation, £40 costs, £180 criminal courts charge, disqualified from keeping a dog for five years.
