DRUGS

Luke Frost, 23, of Forrests Yard, Worksop. Had in his possession a cigarette of cannabis, a controlled drug of Class B. Fined £40. Also ordered to pay £85 court costs and a £20 victim surcharge.

BREACH

Craig Brooks, 46, of Market Place, Ollerton. In Retford, pursued a course of conduct which amounted to the harassment of a woman in which he contacted her via text message despite being advised not to by the police. Committed to prison for six weeks suspended for 12 months with rehabilitation activity requirement. Restraining order made. Also ordered to pay £100 in compensation.

ASSAULT

Darryl Foulds, 26, of Talbot Road, Worksop. Assaulted a woman by beating her. Committed to prison for four weeks. Also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £80.

MOTORING

David Lazenby, 53, of Shrewsbury Road, Worksop. Drove a motor vehicle after consuming so much alcohol that the proportion of it in his breath, namely 71 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 mililitres of breath, exceeded the prescribed limit. Disqualified from driving for 17 months. Fined £100. Also ordered to pay £100 court costs and a £20 victim surcharge.

Kirsty Gee, 32, of Great North Road, Retford. Speeding. Driving record endorsed with three points. Fined £70. Also ordered to pay court costs of £85 and a £20 victim surcharge.

DAMAGE

Christopher Bowles, 39, of Queen Street, Worksop. Without lawful excuse, damaged a police vehicle to the value of under £5,000. Also used threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour towards a police officer. Committed to prison for six weeks. Also ordered to pay £50 in compensation.
