Creswell youngster designs Bluebell Wood Christmas card

Alexia Jane Holmes weighted just 3lb 7oz when she was born and has complex medical needs. Her parents Lizzie and Kevin were told about the hospice and began visiting with her - giving them a much needed break and the chance to meet people in similar situations.

While there Alexia made the charity’s robin Christmas card with the help of Jo Morris, day care coordinator, which has now gone on sale.

Jo said: “We like to paint with the children using their hands and feet as it makes it a sensory experience for them. Alexia really responded to it and had so much fun making the card and the results speak for themselves.” To buy visit www.bluebellwood.org.
