The library will host a display on the history of crime writers, with extra crime books available to borrow.

Rasen Hub will focus on crime prevention and personal safety in today’s society, while the Old Police looks at crime and punishment in the Market Rasen area over the last 200 years.

“We have items from the Lincolnshire Police archives on display at the Old Police Station, as well as items and research from our own society,” said Caroline Foster, chairman of Rase Heritage.

“We hope lots of people will take time to look at the displays and join in the tours and other events.”

The Crime, Law and Order event will begin with a talk and tour of the Old Police Station in the town’s Dear Street on May 3 at 11am.

The Old Police Station will then be open every Tuesday throughout May, from 10.30am to 2pm.
