Police say the suspected drug dealer was arrested as a result intelligence gathered from the community.

The local male in his 20’s was stopped in the Drummond Road area of Skegness today (Christmas Eve).

On searching the male he had a quantity of individually wrapped suspected Class A drugs, and cash suspected to be from the proceeds of selling drugs.

Police are continuing investigations as part of Operation Supernova, which earlier in the month saw two further arrests.

However, the male arrested today was also wanted on a Recall to Prison so will be sent to prison after being dealt at Skegness Custody.

T/Insp David Webb said: “The message is very clear - drugs have a significant impact on the local community in Skegness and will not be tolerated here.

“Thank you to the members of public who do report to us.

“Police will continue to enforce where possible to take drug dealers off our streets.”
