Antique stolen in burglary

An antique writing desk has been stolen during a house burglary in Walesby.

Lincolnshire Police says the house was burgled between 12pm on Sat (July 9) and 6.30pm on Sun (July 10).

Market Rasen PCSO Neal Evans said: “The offenders have used a ladder from the address to gain access via an upstairs rear window.”

PCSO Evans said an antique writing desk measuting 2’ x 1’ x 1’ was taken.

And he said another ‘item of note’ stolen during the incident was a brass plaque.

This had the initials ‘MAB’ on it.
