Army Cadet hut burgled in Metheringham

Burglars have broken into an Army Cadet hut and stolen cash.

The burglary at the Army Cadet Force building on Princes Street, Metheringham, is thought to have happened some time between 10pm on Thursday March 24 and 9am on Monday March 28.

The intruders have gained entry by smashing a window at the rear of the building. Once inside they searched the building and stole a small amount of money.

PCSO Paul Flannigan of Washingborough and Metheringham Neighbourhood Policing Team said: “If you have any information that may assist us in our enquiries, please contact Lincolnshire Police on 101 and quote incident number 119 of March 29. Alternatively, you may report the matter anonymously to Crimestoppers UK, on 0800 555 111.”
