Attempted burglary in Metheringham and criminal damage in Navenby

There has been an attempted burglary at a residential property on Drury Street, Metheringham.

PCSO Paul Flannigan of Washingborough and Metheringham neighbourhood policing team said that between 10.30pm and 10.50pm on Christmas Eve, an intruder attempted to break in via a rear door of the house, no entry was gained and nothing was stolen.

A window of a house and the rear windscreen of a car parked at a property on High Dyke, Navenby were damaged at about 10pm on Sunday.

The front house window was said by police to have been smashed by throwing a brick at it, the car has been struck by an object causing it to smash.
