Boston dealers among those jailed as huge drugs supply ring gang sentenced to more than 100 years between them

The gang were involved in operations to sell class A and class B drugs, including cocaine and cannabis, in Lincolnshire, Leicestershire, Merseyside, and Nottinghamshire.

Jordan Vaughan, 24, of Powell Street, Boston, was sentenced to six years in prison at Leicester Crown Court recently after admitting conspiracy to supply class A and class B drugs.

Harlom Everett, 24, of Fishtoft Road, Boston, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to supply Class A and B drugs. He was sentenced to six years and eight months in prison.

The ring leaders of the gang includied Kevin Duncalf from Liverpool, Ashley Boyd, 34, of Chapel Leicestershire, and Clint Jones, 42, of Leicester, who received sentences of between 16 and nine years.

A third Boston man, Jacob Holland, 24, of Judge Close, who pleaded guilty to conspiracy to supply Class B drugs only, was sentenced to 12 months in prison, suspended for two years. He will also be required to carry out 150 hours unpaid work.

Leicestershire Police said Duncalf supplied cocaine from Liverpool and when he was arrested officers found recordings on his mobile showing his lifestyle, including staying in hotels counting large sums of money on a cash counting machine.

The investigation identified Ashley Boyd and Clint Jones as the brains behind the business-like operation. Both men were part of an organised criminal network, dealing drugs and making money from the misery of drugs.

Jones was one of the main Leicester suppliers, when officers executed a warrant at Jones’s home they found more than £57,000 in cash.

During the enforcement officers recovered cocaine, cannabis, cannabis plants, cash and designer items including customised watches.

East Midlands Special Operations Unit (EMSOU) Detective Inspector Lee Hunt said: “Between them these individuals will now serve more than 100 years behind bars. The conviction and subsequent sentences show how seriously we and the courts take these crimes.

“These criminals were part of an organised network who operated not just in Leicestershire but Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire and Liverpool. During the enforcement we executed more than 50 warrants across those counties and cities.

“This was a significant operation for us but our work doesn’t end here. We know there is always someone waiting to the fill the gap left by others and we will continue in our efforts to stop the misuse of drugs and carry out further operations of the nature to disrupt the criminal activity.”

· Kevin Duncalf, 35, of Vogan Avenue, Crosby, Liverpool, was found guilty of conspiracy to supply Class A drugs, he was sentenced to 16 years in prison. This sentence will commence after he has served two years of a four year sentence for a previous conviction. That conviction related to conspiracy to supply class A drugs (MDMA) and class B drugs (cannabis).

· Ashley Boyd, 34, of Chapel Close, Houghton on the Hill, Leicestershire, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to supply Class A and B drugs, and conspiracy to produce cannabis. He was sentenced to 10 years in prison.

· Clint Jones, 42, of Market Garden Close, Thurmaston, Leicester, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to supply Class A and B drugs. He was sentenced to nine years in prison.

· Emerson George, 38, of Grantham Road, Leicester, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to supply Class A drugs and was sentenced to four years and 10 months in prison.

· Richard O’Donovan, 37, of Wren Close, Syston, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to supply Class A and was sentenced to six years in prison.

· Jordan Vaughan, 24, of Powell Street, Boston, Lincolnshire, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to supply Class A and B drugs and was sentenced to six years in prison.

· Jacob Holland, 24, of Judge Close, Boston, Lincolnshire, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to supply Class B drugs and was sentenced to 12 months in prison, suspended for two years. He will also be required to carry out 150 hours unpaid work.

· Leigh McCulloch, 34, of Denbigh Close, Rainworth, Mansfield, Nottingham, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to supply Class A drugs and was sentenced to five years and three months in jail.

· Rebecca Griffiths, 40, Preston Road, Rainworth, Mansfield, Nottingham, pleaded guilty to allowing premises to be used for the distribution of drugs and was sentenced to six months in prison, suspended for 12 months. She will also be the subject of a curfew between the hours of 9pm and 8am.

· Harlom Everett, 24, of Fishtoft Road, Boston, Lincolnshire, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to supply Class A and B drugs. He was sentenced to six years and eight months in prison.

· Scott Wydra, 38, of Coniston Road, Melton, Leicestershire, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to supply Class A and B drugs. He was sentenced to six years in prison.

· Dipak Modvadia, 37, of Ludlow Close, Oadby, Leicester, pleaded guilty to two counts conspiracy to supply Class A and B drugs. He was sentenced to six years and nine months in prison.

· Xuan Pham, 35, of Courtney Road, Leicester, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to produce Class B drugs and he was sentenced to three years in prison.

· Dawid Flondro, of Homefield Road, Sileby, pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply class A and B drugs and conspiracy to supply Class A drugs. He was sentenced to six years and seven months in prison.

· Dao Pham, 34, of Courtney Road, Leicester, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to produce Class B drugs and was sentenced to 15 months in prison.

· Sukhpal Dhariwal, 34, of Barkbythorpe Road, Leicester, pleaded guilty to allowing premises to be used for distribution of drugs and was sentenced to eight months in prison, suspended for 12 months. He was also ordered to complete 120 hours of unpaid work within 12 months.

· Pardeep Dehal, 30, of Haywood Close, Leicester, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to supply Class A and B drugs. He was sentenced to three years and 10 months in prison.

· Jacob Chetwynd, 28, of Main Street, Bushby, Leicester, pleaded guilty to two counts of conspiracy to supply Class A drugs and was sentenced to five years and four months in prison.

· Kassim Sarang, 28, of Waldron Drive, Oadby, Leicester, pleaded guilty to two counts of conspiracy to supply Class A drugs and was sentenced to five years and four months in prison.

· Reece Denoon, 29, of HMP Longlarton, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to convey a prohibited article into prison. He was sentenced to one year in prison for this offence. This sentence will be served consecutively with his existing sentence for unrelated matters.

· Aaron Curtis, 29, of Barkby Road, Syston, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to supply Class B drugs and cultivation of Class B drugs. He was sentenced to two years and three months in prison.

· Lee Wright, 32, of Overpark Avenue, Leicester, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to supply class B drugs and production of class B drugs. He was sentenced to three years and four months in prison.

Shane Whitfield, 35, of Turner Rise, Oadby, Leicester, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to supply Class A and B drugs, and conspiracy to produce cannabis. He will be sentenced at a later date.

Rebecca Grace, 33, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to convey a prohibited article into prison and intentionally encouraging or assisting the commission of an offence (namely contacting a prisoner via a mobile phone he was prohibited from having). She will be sentenced at a later date.
