Boston man appears in court over collision near Sleaford that led to death of 20-month-old boy
A Boston man has appeared in court in connection with a collision near Sleaford that led to the death of a 20-month-old boy.
Hristo Iliev, 32, of Hide Close, attended Lincoln Magistrates’ Court on Thursday (April 23) on two charges – causing death by dangerous driving and causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
Both offences are alleged to have taken place on the A17 Newark Road, near Sleaford, on March 19, of last year, with Iliev the driver of a Volkswagen Passat.
The case against Iliev was sent to Lincoln Crown Court for trial.
A plea and trial preparation has been set for May 21.
The defendant was released on conditional bail.
