Thieves used their own towbar hitch and wheel brace to take the trailer, which has Mountain’s Boston Sausage emblazoned on the side, from the Mountain Abbey Parks Farm Shop at East Heckington.

The post today says police have tracked the stolen trailer down and it is already up and running serving food and hot drinks again.

Boston Sausage said: “Well what can we say?! With over 200,000 views on Facebook and a massive amount of help and hardwork, we are delighted to say we now have our catering trailer back in our possession.

“Our heartfelt thanks go out to everyone who has shared the post which created the awareness and the Lincolnshire police for tracking the stolen trailer down.

“We are now back open for business serving takeaway hot food and drinks seven days a week. Hope to see you soon. Thanks once again.”
