The fox was stolen from a property in Lincoln Road in the village during Sunday night (October 18).

A Lincolnshire Police spokesman said: “We would like to hear from any witnesses who may have seen anyone acting suspiciously in the area, or anyone who has any information on this statue.”

This comes a week after a large metal sculpture of a horse was stolen from a garden in Barkston Heath Road in Belton. This was reported to police on October 10.

The horse was described as “clearly unique and very distinctive”.
