Burglars steal jewellery and ornaments from Sutton on Sea home

A residential property in Sutton on Sea was broken into earlier this month, with the offenders stealing several items of jewellery and ornaments.

Lincolnshire Police are investigating the burglary in Grove Road, which took place between 10.30am and 5pm on Thursday 17 December.

A rear window of the property was forced open, and an untidy search of all of the rooms was carried out by the culprits.

A police spokesman said:"A number of items of jewellery were stolen in the burglary, including a gold coloured pendant in the shape of a sailing boat, a gold coloured gate chain bracelet, a gold coloured signet ring, a silver coloured chain with a green heart charm, a silver coloured heart shaped locket with leaf detail and a gold coloured cut out coin charm with the words three pence and 1943 in the cut out detail, and also a gold coloured heart shaped pendant with a purple stone. Two figurines of ladies in ball gowns were also stolen."

"The Investigating Officer believes any of the items of jewellery could have been offered for sale or given away since the burglary and is asking anyone who may have information to get in touch. If you have any information regarding the burglary on Grove Road or the stolen items, please contact us."
