Convicted rapist Paul Robson charged with absconding and stealing push bike

The convicted sex offender who was the subject of a nationwide manhunt has now been charged with two offences.

Paul Robson, 56, was aprehended by police in Skegness yesterday, after spending several days on the run since absconding from North Sea Camp open prison near Boston on Sunday.

Today (Friday) Lincolnshire Police have confirmed he has now been charged with ‘absconding and theft of pedal cycle’.

He will appear at Lincoln Magistrates Court this morning.
