ASSAULT

Simon Jones, 52, of Greenway Close, Rothley, Leicester. At Chapel St Leonards, committed assault. Discharged conditionally for 12 months. £21 victim surcharge. £85 costs.

Ross Thompson, 20, of Glentworth Crescent, Skegness. At Lincoln, assaulted a member of the courts’ prison staff acting in the exercise of their functions as an emergency worker. Committed to detention in a young offender institution for 10 weeks.

Joba Harness, 20, of Spirewick Avenue, Skegness. Failed without reasonable excuse to comply with the requirements of a community order by failing to attend a planned initial appointment on a date in October and a scheduled unpaid work session on a date in November. Order to continue, but varied. Unpaid Work Requirement: 68 hours (eight added to mark breach).

DRUNK AND DISORDERLY

David Morrissey, 24, of Somersby Grove, Skegness. At Skegness, in Lumley Road, were guilty, while drunk, of disorderly behaviour. £80 fine. £32 victim surcharge. £85 costs.

THEFT

Mason Wilson, 20, of Belton Park Road, Skegness. At Skegness, on February 10, stole raw meat of an unknown value from the Co-op. £12 compensation to pay. At Skegness, the following day, stole a vacuum cleaner to the value of £100 from Beales. £79.99 compensation to pay. At Skegness, on February 18, attempted to seal four packs of lamb shanks to the value of £18 from the Co-op. At Skegness, the following day, stole two bottles of vodka of an unknown value from Aldi. £29.38 compensation to pay. At Skegness, on February 24, stole groceries to an unknown value from Asda filling station. £14 compensation to pay. At Skegness, on the same date, stole various groceries to the value of £54 from Asda filling station. £54 compensation to pay. In each case, committed to detention in a young offender institution for 28 days to run concurrent to each other. Overall length of sentence: 28 days.
