DRINK-DRIVING

Constantin-Florin Rosu, 31 of Standard Grove, Boston. At Boston, in Freiston Road, drove after consuming so much alcohol that the proportion of it in breath equalled 51 microgrammes in 100 millilitres. Legal limit 35mcg. Community order made. Unpaid Work Requirement: 100 hours. £90 victim surcharge. £85 costs. Disqualified from driving for three years. Driving record endorsed. Commission of a further offence while subject to a conditional discharge order for an offence of shoplifting. Order to continue. £100 fine.

Aurimas Vilcauskas, 36, of no fixed abode. At Boston, in Peck Avenue, drove after consuming so much alcohol that the proportion of it in breath equalled 71 microgrammes in 100 millilitres. Legal limit 35mcg. Committed to prison for eight weeks. £122 victim surcharge. Disqualified from driving for two years. Driving record endorsed. At Boston, in Queen Street, on the same date, failed to stop a vehicle he was driving when required to do so by a constable in uniform. No separate penalty. At Boston, on the same date, in Sleaford Road, drove without due care and attention, and, in Queen Street, used a vehicle without insurance and drove otherwise than in accordance with a licence. In each case, no separate penalty and driving record endorsed. At Boston, in Queen Street, on the same date, knowing that a conveyance had been taken without the consent of the owner or other lawful authority, drove the said conveyance. Committed to prison for four weeks to run concurrent to the other term. Overall length of sentence: eight weeks.

Giedrius Ringaila, 28, of South Square, Boston. At Boston, in Park Road, drove after consuming so much alcohol that the proportion of it in breath equalled 139 microgrammes in 100 millilitres. Legal limit 35mcg. Committed to prison for 18 weeks. £122 victim surcharge. Disqualified from driving for four years. Driving record endorsed. 
At Boston, in Park Road, on the same date, drove otherwise than in accordance with a licence; used a vehicle when the grooves of the tread pattern of the tyres fitted to the front nearside and offside wheels were not of a depth of at least 1mm throughout a continuous band measuring at least three-quarters of the breadth of the tread; and used a vehicle without insurance. In each case, no separate penalty and driving record endorsed. Commission of a further offence while subject to a conditional discharge order imposed for an offence of battery. No action taken on breach.

DRIVING WHILE DISQUALIFIED

Edita Varkaliene, 41, of Wyberton West Road, Boston. At Wisbech, in Lynn Road, drove while disqualified. Committed to prison for six weeks. £122 victim surcharge. Disqualified from driving for 12 months. Driving record endorsed.

INSURANCE/LICENCE/MOT

Dmitrij Sutugins, 37, of Whitehorse Lane, Boston. At Boston, in High Street, used a vehicle without insurance. £660 fine. £66 victim surcharge. £85 costs. Disqualification from driving for six months due to repeat offending. Driving record endorsed with six points.

THEFT

Damon Coulson, 39, of Frampton Place, Boston. At Boston, stole cash to the value of £500. At Boston, on an earlier date, stole a wallet containing bank cards and committed fraud in that he dishonestly made a false representation, namely using a bank card in the name of 
another, intending to make a gain, 
namely to buy tobacco, alcohol, and 
juice to the value of £53.40, for himself. In each case, committed to prison 
for seven days. Overall length of sentence: seven days. 
£53.40 compensation.

Samuel Vince, 23, of Skirbeck Gardens, Boston. At Boston, in Sleaford Road, stole clothing and a bicycle lock to the value of £17 from Asda. Committed to prison for two weeks. At Boston Police Station, on the same date, had in his possession five wraps of diamorphine – a class A drug. Committed to prison for four weeks to run concurrent to other terms. £122 victim surcharge. No order for costs. 
Commission of a further offence during the operational period of a suspended sentence order. No adjudication – dealt with for original offences: dishonestly making off without having paid as required or expected; failing without reasonable cause to surrender to custody having been released on bail in criminal proceedings; shoplifting – two counts; possession of a quantity of amphetamine – class B drug; and burglary. Four suspended sentences of two weeks implemented to run concurrent to other terms; one suspended sentence of four weeks implemented to run concurrent to other terms; one suspended sentence of 12 weeks implemented as sentence of four weeks to run consecutive to other terms. Overall length of sentence: eight weeks.
