Liam McCann, 25, of Festival Avenue, Ingoldmells. At Boston, in London Road, committed assault by beating. Committed to prison for 26 weeks, suspended for 12 months. £122 victim surcharge. £85 costs. At Boston, in London Road, on the same date, without lawful authority or reasonable excuse, had with him in a public place a lock knife with a Stanley type blade. Committed to prison for 12 weeks, suspended for 12 months. Lock knife to be forfeited and destroyed. Overall length of sentence: 26 weeks. In Lincolnshire, on a later date, breached a bail condition. No action taken.

DUE CARE AND ATTENTION

Christopher Carroll, 50, of Gibraltar Point, Croft. At Skegness, at McDonald’s restaurant, in Grande Parade, drove without due care and attention. £80 fine. £32 victim surcharge. £85 costs. Driving record endorsed with five points. At Skegness, on the same date, as a driver, after being involved in an accident in Grande Parade in which damage was caused to another vehicle, failed to stop. No separate penalty. Driving record endorsed.

Mark Blissett, 30, of Billingsgate, South Somercotes, Louth. At Skegness, had in his possession 0.1g of cocaine – a class A drug. Discharged conditionally for 12 months. Cocaine to be forfeited and destroyed. At Louth, on the previous day, damaged a window to the approximate value of £100 belonging to another, intending to destroy or damage such property or being reckless as to whether such property would be destroyed or damaged – three counts. In each case, discharged conditionally for 12 months. In each case, £100 compensation to pay.

SPECIMEN OF BREATH

Dean Fisher, 38, of Church Street, Elsecar, Barnsley. At Skegness, when suspected of having driven a vehicle and having been required to provide a specimen or specimens of breath for analysis in the course of an investigation into whether he had committed an offence, failed without reasonable excuse to do so. £350 fine. Disqualified from driving for 18 months. Driving record endorsed. At Skegness, on the same date, committed assault by beating. £350 fine. £200 compensation to pay.

THEFT

Christopher Batley, 65, c/o St Anne’s Fort, King’s Lynn. At Skegness, stole a 48in Samsung TV to the value of £799.99 from Beales department store. Discharged conditionally for 24 months. £799.99 compensation to pay. £100 costs. At Skegness, on a later date, stole seven jars of coffee and a block of cheese to the value of £33 from Spar. Martin Read, 38, of East View Terrace, Skegness. At Grantham, stole two bottles of Smirnoff vodka and a bottle of Gordon’s Gin to the value of £41.97 from B&M. £200 fine. At Grantham, on the previous day, stole bottles of alcohol to the value of £51.47 from B&M. No separate penalty. £51.47 compensation to pay. At Lincolnshire, on a later date, stole confectionary goods from Morrisons. No separate penalty.
