ASSAULT

Benjamin Watson, 39, of Lovers Lane, Newark on Trent. At Boston, assaulted an emergency worker, acting in the exercise of their actions of his functions as such a worker, by beating them – three counts from the same date (two police officers, one custody detention officer). In each case, discharged conditionally for six months. In each case, £100 compensation to pay. At Boston, on the same date, damaged a Lincolnshire Police custody cell to an unknown amount under £5,000, intending to destroy or damage such property or being reckless as to whether such property would be destroyed or damaged. Discharged conditionally for six months. At Boston, in Horncastle Road, on the previous day, destroyed a window to the value of £5,000 belonging to The King’s Arms public house, intending to destroy or damage such property or being reckless as to whether such property would be destroyed or damaged. Discharged conditionally for six months. £50 compensation to pay.

COMMUNITY ORDER

Ionut Caplea, 32, of Chester Close, Uxbridge. Failed without reasonable excuse to comply with the requirements of community order by failing to attend as instructed for his planned initial appointment on a date in June and unpaid work induction appointment the following day. No adjudication – dealt with for original offences. First, at Boston, in Fydell Crescent, drove after consuming so much alcohol that the proportion of it in breath equalled 112 microgrammes in 100 millilitres. Legal limit. 35mcg. Community order made (previous community order revoked). Rehabilitation Activity Requirement: up to 10 days. Unpaid Work Requirement: 200 hours. Second, at Boston, in Nelson Way, on a later date, drove after consuming so much alcohol that the proportion of it in breath equalled 71 microgrammes in 100 millilitres. Community order made, as above.

Ashley Jones, 25, of Boyfields, Quadring. At Spalding, in Westlode Street, had in his possession a small quantity of cocaine – a class A drug. £375 fine. £37 victim surcharge. Cocaine to be forfeited and destroyed.

DRUNK

Tiago Ferreira, 18, of Taverner Road, Boston. At Boston, in Market Place, were found drunk. Discharged conditionally for six months. £21 victim surcharge. £85 costs.

INSURANCE/LICENCE/MOT

Connor Ryan, 19, of Eton Way, Boston. At Boston, in Skeldyke Road, used a vehicle without insurance. £440 fine. £44 victim surcharge. Driving record endorsed with eight points. At Boston, in Skeldyke Road, on the same date, drove otherwise than in accordance with a licence. No separate penalty. Driving record endorsed. At Boston, in Skeldyke Road, on the same date, as a driver, failed to stop on being required to do so by a constable in uniform. No separate penalty.

KNIFE

Nathan Cammack, 29, of Rosebery Avenue, Boston. At Amber Hill, in Sutterton Drove, had with him, without good reason or lawful authority, an article which had a blade or was sharply pointed, namely a kitchen knife. Committed to prison for six months. £122 victim surcharge. £85 costs. Knife to be forfeited and destroyed. Commission of a further offence during the operation period of a suspended sentence. No adjudication – dealt with for original offence. At Frampton West, in Old Hammond Beck Road, had with him, without good reason or lawful authority, an article which had a blade or was sharply pointed, naming a locking knife. Suspended sentence of imprisonment of six months implemented, to run consecutive to other term. Overall length of sentence: 12 months.

Kristina Kvietkauskiene, 39, of Portland Street, Boston. At Boston, in Norfolk Street, used a vehicle when the grooves of the tread pattern fitted to the rear offside wheel where not of a depth of at least 1mm throughout a continuous band measuring at least three-quarters of the breadth of the tread. £100 fine. £32 victim surcharge. £85 costs. Driving record endorsed with three points. At Boston, in Norfolk Street, on the same date, used a vehicle when the front nearside wheel was fitted with a tyre which had the ply or cord exposed and when the front windscreen was not maintained in such condition that the vision of the driver was not obscured. In each case, no separate penalty.
