ASSAULT

Mohamed Hussein, 26, of Tunnard Street, Boston. At Boston, assaulted a police constable, acting in the exercise of their functions as an emergency worker, by beating them – four counts, each referring to a different police constable. In each case, committed to prison for six weeks with terms running consecutive to each other. In each case, £100 compensation to pay. Overall length of sentence: 24 weeks.

Mark Himsworth, 39, of HMP Lincoln. At Boston, in Red Lion Street, committed assault by beating. Committed to prison for four weeks to run consecutive to other terms. £150 compensation to pay. At Boston, on the same date, stole a men’s fragrance set to the value of £72 from Oldrids. Committed to prison for one week, to run consecutively. £72 compensation to pay. At Boston, on the same date, without lawful excuse, damaged a police issue suicide suit to an unknown value, intending to destroy or damage such property or being reckless as to whether such property would be destroyed or damaged. Committed to prison for one week, to run consecutively.

Michal Ferenc, 20, of Fydell Street, Boston. At Boston, in Fydell Street, wilfully rode a pedal cycle upon a footpath or causeway by the side of a road made or set apart for the use or accommodation of foot passengers. £220 fine. £32 victim surcharge. At Boston, in Fydell Street, on the same date, being the rider of a cycle on a road, failed to stop on being required to do so by a constable in uniform. No separate penalty.
