DRINK DRIVING

Simon Smith, 36, of Edward Crescent, Skegness. At Skegness, in Queen’s Road, on February 26, drove after consuming so much alcohol that the proportion of it in his breath equalled 48 microgrammes in 100 millilitres. £120 fine. £32 victim surcharge. £85 costs. Disqualified from driving for 12 months. Driving record endorsed.

Jonathan Bridge, 32, of Ancaster Avenue, Spilsby. At Boston, in Horncastle Road, on December 7, drove otherwise than in accordance with a licence. £220 fine. £32 victim surcharge. £85 costs.

Richard Burrows, 37, of Rutland Road, Skegness. At Skegenss, in Roman Bank, on March 28, used a vehicle without insurance. £660 fine. £66 victim surcharge. £85 costs. Carlton Powell, 51, of Rosamonds Ride, Derby. At Skegness, in North Parade, on November 2, used a vehicle when the windows were not maintained in such condition that the vision of the driver was not obscured. £220 fine. £32 victim surcharge. £85 costs.

SPECIMEN OF BREATH

Craig James, 27, of Winsor Way, Broughton Astley, Leicester. At Skegness, on July 3, when suspected of having driven a vehicle and having been required to provide a specimen or specimens of breath for analysis in the course of an investigation into whether he had committed an offence, failed without reasonable excuse to do so. Community order made. Curfew Requirement with Electronic Monitoring (now passed). £50 victim surcharge. £85 costs. Disqualified from driving for 36 months. Driving record endorsed. At Skegness, on the same date, failed without reasonable excuse to co-operate with a preliminary test, namely a roadside breath test and drug screening test. No separate penalty.
